Tackling rising damp in house in Hemiksem

Some rooms in the house in Hemiksem were struggling with rising damp; groundwater creeping up along the walls and causing damp patches. To solve this, we injected the walls with a gel that evaporates into the wall itself, creating a new water barrier and preventing the water from rising.

Thorough wall repair after moisture damage

Due to the moisture present, the walls were also already damaged, which we addressed by capping, installing a damp-proof membrane for extra protection and plastering back to provide a finished whole. With the combination of injecting and treating the wall itself, the moisture will not have a chance to return and the room was also ready to be decorated.
